I’m Roxanne — an award-winning hair and makeup artist, educator, and the founder of both The Studio by Roxanne and RB Beauty Training Academy.

My journey into the beauty industry started long before the studio....

As a teenager, my very first job was in a local beauty salon and hairdressers. From those early days, I was completely immersed in the world of hair and beauty — not just learning treatments, but understanding how a salon runs, how clients should feel, and what it truly means to deliver a great experience.

As life grew busier and I became a mum, my passion never left. I trained professionally in hair, makeup and beauty while my children were still babies — building my skills alongside raising my family. During those years, I worked in various roles while growing my own business on the side, taking on mobile clients and slowly building a loyal client base.

Eventually, I took the leap to go fully self-employed — transforming my passion into a full-time career. I created a home studio in my garden, focusing on bridal & special occasion makeup & Hairstyling, which quickly became the foundation of my brand. Over the years, that space allowed me to grow, refine my services, and build strong relationships with my clients.

As demand increased, so did my vision.

After years of dedication, growth and hard work, I took the next step and opened The Studio by Roxanne in March 2025 — a space designed to reflect everything I had built. It’s more than just a salon; it’s a calm, elevated environment where clients can feel comfortable, confident, and truly looked after.

Today, I specialise in Luxury Bridal Hair & Makeup, soft glam makeup, effortless hairstyling, and tailored beauty treatments, working closely with each client to create a look that enhances their natural beauty. Whether it’s for a wedding, special occasion, or simply a moment to yourself, my aim is always to make you feel your absolute best.

Alongside my work in the studio, I also run RB Beauty Training Academy, where I share my knowledge and experience through professional, in-depth courses designed to support and inspire the next generation of artists.

Every part of my journey — from that first salon job, to building a business around my family, to opening my own studio — has shaped the way I work today.

And this is only the beginning.
